Valeo celebrates 25 years supporting the automotive industry in Ciudad Juárez

Valeo celebrated the 25th anniversary of its plant and development center in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. Which is part of the network of 13 factories and three development centers that the company has throughout Mexico, with more than 13,000 employees.
The automotive supplier and world leader in its lines of business, it has become one of the city's top employers with nearly 2,000 employees.

The plant covers an area of 50,000 square meters, where more than one million pieces of front wiper arms, front rubber strips, rear rubber arms and strips, and modules are produced monthly , supplying 35 customer centers in North America. .
For more than 25 years, the site has remained at the forefront of the industry, with state-of-the-art equipment, such as a state-of-the-art painting process.
It should be remembered that in September Valeo inaugurated one of its most ambitious projects at the Ciudad Juárez plant with its second 100% electric extrusion line , with greater energy efficiency. The equipment is ecological and is made up of a vacuum system and UV rays , which absorb and clean all the gases in the process, making it the first wiper center to benefit from this technology.
Research and development activities are also carried out in Ciudad Juárez, which contributed to the prototyping of cleaning system sensors that are now used in autonomous ferries.
