Union Design Developers has initiated the construction of a new industrial park in the city of Mission, Texas, named "Industrial Park at Anzaldua's," spanning 6.3 million square feet. The project involves several phases, with an initial investment of $50 million.

In the first phase, approximately 2.2 million square feet will be dedicated to industrial warehouses that can be converted to cold or dry storage spaces, depending on the needs of different companies. Luis Rodrigo Castillo, owner of Union Design Developers, emphasized the new park's significance for the economic growth of the region and the advantages it offers to various businesses.

With the expansion of the Anzaldua International Bridge, which connects Mission, Texas, to Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Castillo also highlighted the potential to streamline foreign trade processes, particularly in logistics and industrial sectors.

The new industrial park is strategically situated between Military Highway and Bryan Road, just a few miles from the Anzaldua International Bridge. Its development targets the attraction of manufacturing, logistics, goods, and services companies.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Mission Mayor Norie Gonzalez, Mission Economic Development Corporation CEO Teclo Garcia, and Mission Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brenda Enriquez.
