Two new Industrial Parks to be opened in the municipality of Colon

Today the municipality of Colon is on its best moment, thus said in interview for Mexico Industry Gaspar Trueba Moncada, secretary of Sustainable Development from the municipality of Colon; “249 commercial establishments have been opened through which more than 1,500 jobs were generated, regarding companies, during the last three years 25 national and international companies settled in the municipality some of German capital such as Brose and Prettl dedicated to the automotive industry.
Currently, the municipality has five Industrial Parks: Ferroparque de Queretaro, Aerospacial Park, AeroTech Industrial Park, Agropark and Aeropuerto Industrial Park, becoming thus one of the main transformation producers in aerospace matter. More than 4,500 formal jobs have been generated with the arrival of big companies from the automotive sector, aerospace, manufacturing and agriculture. Regarding investment, more than 50 % belongs to American, German and French capital.
It is important to underline the success obtained by companies dedicated to the agricultural sector such as Grupo Nutec and Gramosa, which have become two of the main job generators in Colon, “We are a facilitator municipality, we are in favor of national and foreign investment, in addition that we have a strategic location, we have an International Airport, easy access roads, in addition of a great touristic attractive such as vineyards and cheese shops, which export their products to the neighboring States,” Trueba said.
MILLIONAIRE INVESTMENTS CONTINUE ARRIVING TO COLON
In the upcoming months the opening of the two Industrial Parks will be held in the municipality: Vesta Park Queretaro I, with more than 120 million dollars in investment and Aeropuerto Industrial Park with an investment of 650 million pesos, which have already generated more than 2,000 jobs only on its construction stage. It is important mentioning the arrival of housing developments to the plane area; “we seek generating a synergy to provide comfort and better life quality to businessmen arriving to invest in the municipality,” ended Gaspar.
