Two million pesos will be invested in economic development

In order to
potentiate the entrepreneurial ecosystem and encourage the economic
development, the Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development launched a
call to support the fulfillment of local and regional exhibitions, as well as
business summits.
The director
of Commerce, Silvia Roman announced the call, which has a total amount of
investment of two million pesos, which will be used to encourage the
fulfillment of events and thus trigger the economic development of the region.
The call is
open for municipal governments, commerce chambers, associations and business
organisms, and business summits will be supported, as well as forums,
congresses and exhibitions taking place during 2019.
“The events
will have to be oriented to strengthening the local economy, also to promote
entrepreneurial culture,” said Silvia Roman.
Among the
restrictions made were mentioned that they have to inside in entrepreneurs
productivity, businessmen or MSME’s.
“We are
interested in the commerce subject, trigger the economy in the state, that is
why the call focuses on that,” noted the director of commerce.
The support
from the direction of commerce will start from the application, during which
they will provide orientation for fulfilling it successfully.
Once the
support is provided, they will be benefited with money, which amount will
depend on the event, as well as with the arrangements for permits and
diffusion.
The director
of commerce ended by reasserting the intention to increase the economic
activity of the state.
“We are
hoping to have many applications, which they are from different municipalities,
business chambers, associations. Here
the idea is to have economic activity, to promote that commercial encounter
among producers and buyers, and to have that natural growth given from this
business summits,” she assured.
