TSN will open a manufacturing plant in Querétaro; will invest 500 million pesos

The TSN Group will expand its operations in the country with the installation of a new manufacturing plant in Querétaro, in which it will invest 500 million pesos and generate 500 new jobs.

During the investment announcement, which took place during the 20th edition of the Mexico Business Summit 2022, the president of the TSN Group, Eduardo Vázquez González, explained that in this new headquarters TSN will be dedicated to the manufacture of thermoforming, as well as vehicle transformations. light for commercial use and micromobility that significantly help in reducing polluting emissions.

Querétaro, he added, due to government initiatives and the active participation of citizens, has become a benchmark in the country, an example to follow to compete internationally and contribute to sustainable development.

The state governor, Mauricio Kuri González, welcomed the 100% capital origin firm to Querétaro, a project that includes the production of thermoformed products, the transformation of mobile units such as ambulances, passengers and the transfer of refrigerated goods.

“Querétaro offers this great company labor certainty and peace, as well as a developing infrastructure that will soon place us as a national example and, most importantly, a qualified human resource to occupy highly specialized positions,” he assured.

In his speech, the Secretary of Sustainable Development, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero , reported that nine of the 43 projects that have been completed this year correspond to national companies, which represent an investment of 1,167 million pesos, as well as the generation of one thousand 558 potential jobs.  

"TSN started 26 years ago in Monterrey and today it makes the decision to continue its growth in Querétaro, where they will find the talent and conditions to reach the next level," he said.

He added that the entity has 67 portfolio investments , with an investment potential of more than 104,259 million pesos and the generation of 28,107 jobs. 

As of last Friday, he specified, they have completed 43 investment projects, which represent 20,380 million pesos and 11,893 jobs in the short and medium term.
