TROX México Invests MXN 350 Million in New Ventilation and Air Conditioning Plant in Puebla
March 25, 2026
TROX México announced a MXN 350 million investment for the construction of a new plant in Huejotzingo, Puebla, a project that strengthens manufacturing capacity in climate control systems and reinforces the state’s role as a strategic link in the North American supply chain.
Industrial investment reinforces specialized manufacturing
The new facility will operate as an export platform for Central and North American markets, manufacturing ventilation and air-handling solutions under global production standards. The expansion broadens the company’s footprint in Mexico and further positions Puebla within the specialized industrial segment.
During the construction phase, the project will generate 150 direct jobs, while the long-term growth plan contemplates the creation of up to 400 positions over an eight-year period. This expansion responds to rising demand for climate control solutions in both industrial and commercial sectors.
The complex will include an 11,500-square-meter industrial building, as well as a customer experience center, showroom, and the TROX Academy within a 1,600-square-meter administrative area. The site will also include a land reserve that could support an additional 6,000 square meters of production expansion.
Sustainability and logistics at the core of the project
The plant is expected to obtain LEED Platinum certification, ensuring emissions-free operations and compliance with international energy-efficiency standards. This approach aligns the project with current industrial sustainability requirements.
The development is also linked to the modernization of Hermanos Serdán International Airport, which is expected to strengthen logistics and connectivity in the Huejotzingo area. This alignment will support freight flow and improve the competitiveness of the local industrial environment.
With more than 75 years of global experience and 15 years of presence in Mexico, TROX continues to expand in the country through high-level productive infrastructure. The combination of private investment and local operating conditions further positions Puebla as a reference point for advanced manufacturing.
The launch of the project brought together company executives, state and municipal authorities, and representatives of the business sector, who witnessed the start of this new industrial development.
