Tenere inaugurates plant in Nuevo León

In order to increase its production capacity and improve the supply chain in the North American region, Tenere opened its plant in Juárez, Nuevo León, for which they invested 15 million dollars.
The planning of the project emerged in April 2020, and this new factory is located in the Pocket Park Oriente of GP Developments , it also has 16,723 square meters of land and a future expansion has already been confirmed, where they will add 6,968 square meters.
They currently have 500 employees and hope to expand their team to 1,000 collaborators within a year.
The American company has a sheet metal manufacturing plant in Nuevo León —the only one in the country—, and thanks to its new location, they will increase the volume of manufacturing custom sheet metal boxes, sheet metal racks, chassis and cabinets .
Brian Steel, CEO of Tenere , stated that the company has been operating in Nuevo León for more than five years , a region where they have found support for the growth of their businesses, and in turn, have had sufficient operational and employee security. .
Likewise, José María Garza Treviño , Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Garza Ponce (GP) and Director of GP Construction and Development , stated that Pocket Park Oriente is integrated and close to the community, which allows employees to have better access to their workplace, which improves the quality of life of each member.
For her part, Zelina Fernández, undersecretary of investment and industrial development of Nuevo León, pointed out that in 2021 the entity stood out for being a leader in attracting foreign direct investment and also for having expansion projects, which highlights strong growth of the industry.
