Tech Mahindra to open second investment project in Aguascalientes

The company Tech Mahindra, Indian multinational supplier of information technology, network technology solutions and externalization of business processes for the industry, opened its second investment project in Aguascalientes.

With a total amount of 5 million dollars, the company will start operations officially in the entity as part of the expansion strategy in Mexico and the American continent.  They will be offering a complete line of products and technology services focused in solving the needs of customers from different industries such as energy, manufacturing, distribution and insurance, among others.

In addition, they seek serving the best local demand and nearby markets in an efficient manner, since they are committed with the country and are expecting to contribute in the construction and delivery of technology solutions for the future.

“We have had an important growth in a short time, the expansion process we have in the country today brought us to this State, we were influenced because we found an impressive growth in the state regarding gross domestic product, talent is attractive for us and we see beyond of what Aguascalientes will become,” said Pablo Gallegos, vice-president and general director of Tech Mahindra Mexico.

With the arrival to the entity, they will be seeking to establish alliances with sectors such as universities, business schools and commercial organisms of the different industries to promote the creation of about 300 jobs in the next 18 months.

Likewise, Dilip Sundaram, president of Corporate Affairs of Grupo Mahindra Americas, said that they are sure of the decision made of expanding their investments in Aguascalientes, where they will be a complete success, as they not only have important customers in the entity and the region, but their commercial future is guaranteed.

Meanwhile, Martin Orozco, governor of the State, highlighted that Tech Mahindra will be offering 50 high added valued jobs at the beginning, and said that the company represents a tie that strengths the friendship with India, as in addition of coinciding in different projects in Mexico, they share the vision of growing in diversity, mainly, in the sectors that demand intensive technological innovation.

“What does the Grupo Tech Mahindra represent? They have companies and aerospace, defense, spare parts, automotive, agroindustrial equipment, finance services, tourism, real-estate, logistics, renewable energies and software projects; this represents a group that is at the top worldwide,” said Orozco Sandoval.

By the end of the opening event, directives and representatives of the State Government participated at the ceremony of the lighting of lamp, a tradition in India.
