Tata Group confirms investment in Nuevo Leon

Tata Group  has already closed negotiations with the government of  Nuevo León to install a plant in the state.

During his work tour of India, the state president, Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda, met with the directors of the  Tata Group company , owner of  Tata Motors Limited , a company dedicated to the  manufacture of automobiles that has subsidiaries with  Jaguar Land Rover , Jaguar Cars ,  Tata Technologies, Tata Motors Cars , among others.

"Country we are going to, shot by trip we bring [to Nuevo León] a big company, we are going to continue with records of foreign investment that generate the best jobs in Mexico."

Record foreign investment in Nuevo León

He highlighted the investment of more than 25 billion dollars thanks to the foreign investment that he has attracted during his work tours of different countries.

"And we still have not added this trip to India, we are going to put Mexico in the top 10 for investment and growth and go from 12th to 10th place with these actions, we signed agreements with seven companies and Bombay, as well as Nuevo León, They are the states that generate the most GDP for their countries, that is why we are here, to make these actions possible," he said.

Nuevo León, world hub in electromobility 

He assured that Nuevo León has the label of world hub in electromobility  after the arrival of  Tesla, KIA  and Tata Motors .

"That is why the importance of these trips with the most important economies in the world, we are promoting Mexico and Nuevo León," added García Sepúlveda.

Through his networks, García Sepúlveda added that he signed an agreement to establish best electromobility and technology practices with the state of Maharashtra.

"Mumbai is an important city in India, it is the financial capital, there is a lot of industry and technology companies. We celebrate an exchange agreement and good practices with Nuevo León, they are thriving, powerful, financial states,"
