Swiss business plans to bring investments to Chihuahua

Representatives from the Switzerland embassy in Mexico and of the Swiss business sector gathered with directives from Tpi Composites to explore business possibilities, particularly related to fiberglass, according to Carlos Yates, director of institutional relations of the company.
The meeting was attended by Ruben Araiza, director of Swiss Business Hub in Mexico, Benjamin Werenfels, consultant of Switzerland Global Enterprise, as well as representatives of the local and state Government, besides Victor Saenz, vice-president of the company and Carlos Yates.
During the meeting, directives of Tpi
Composites showed the representatives of the Government and Swiss business
sector the advantages of Ciudad Juarez as a region for industrial investment
and of export manufacturing, as well as the own achievements, advantages, and
characteristics of the company. This with the objective of representatives
is interested in the region to bring future business.
“The intention of fulfilling this visit is to learn the potential you can have to bring the investment,” explained Ruben Araiza
Besides Araiza explained that their organization has a business plan which defines as strategic axis four industries: automotive, aeronautics, medical devices, and technologies. “Chihuahua has these sectors as development potential; therefore we chose it as the commercial visit of exploratory character,” he detailed.
Finally, underlined that they will later
organize an event in Switzerland to promote the region.
