Sunnen to open a new manufacturing plant in Nuevo Leon

Sunnen Products Company announced they will open a manufacturing plant in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, to supplement their manufacturing in the United States, China, Switzerland and Brazil, with which they anticipate expanding their global presence.
The company announced they will move some of their abrasive products and tools from their production center located in St. Louis Missouri, in the United States, to the plant in Nuevo Leon.
The transition will slowly begin at the end of 2019 and will be ending by the end of 2020.
The company explained that a minimal impact is expected in personnel levels in St. Louis with this transition and that they will reassign most of the employees to cover the needs in other areas.
Sunnen Products is deeply committed to its employees’ base and with St. Louis. They also recognized that the diversification of the workgroups from which it extracts its highly qualified workforce must expand to satisfy customers’ demands.
Likewise, he referred that the tenure of the workforce and pendent retirements are a challenge to which the company must respond.

Besides, it allows our St. Louis highly qualified workforce to expand its approach to innovate Sunnen portfolio and better serve our customers another 95 years,” said Chris Miltenberg, president, and chief operating officer of the company.
Sunnen, leader on polish technology, is one of the largest manufacturers of finishes equipment. Employs around 650 people around the world, with offices, manufacturing facilities, and technical support in Europe, China, India, Brazil, and the United States.
Sunnen customers and
its applications include a variety of industries. The product line contains
burnishing, polishing systems, and drilling tools, among others.
