Suminoe Textile will expand its operations in Guanajuato with a new investment of 19.5 million dollars

The Japanese company Suminoe Textile , announced an investment increase of an additional 19.5 million dollars and the generation of 150 new jobs at its plant located in Irapuato, Guanajuato.
This news was announced during the Investment Tour 2024 More Guanajuato in Asia , by the state governor, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, who visited the headquarters of the Japanese company that manufactures textiles for interiors, including aircraft and automotive industry .
To install its plant in the region, Suminoe Textile initially invested 15.5 million dollars and created 60 jobs.
It should be noted that , Suminoe Textile was founded in 1883 and is engaged in the manufacture of interior textiles (carpets, curtains, wallpaper, floor materials, etc.), functional materials (electric carpet, deodorant related products, interior materials aircraft, etc.) and vehicle and automobile interior design materials .
The automotive sector has been served since 1931, supplying carpet and seat upholstery to Ford and General Motors produced in Japan.
Okita Iron Works expands in Guanajuato
Okita Iron Works , leader in the production of bearings, ratified its commitment to invest 40 million dollars and generate 200 new direct jobs in Guanajuato.
Guanajuato was the first expansion destination for this company outside the Oriente , after installing its plant in the municipality of Abasolo, where its managers decided to expand their investment, given the competitive advantages and the business ecosystem offered by the State, with a privileged location that facilitates the global market.
