Strengthening Economic Development: Highlights from BTA Mexico's Bi-Monthly Gathering

During the second bi-monthly meeting of the Border Trade Alliance in Mexico (BTA), significant decisions were made to enhance and strengthen the organization. These decisions included the appointment of a new manager and the establishment of the Public Policy Committee.
Gricelda Elizondo García was named as the Manager of Memberships and Events, acknowledging her extensive experience and track record within various institutions and organizations. Additionally, a new committee dedicated to Public Policy was formed with the aim of fostering economic development within the productive sector.
This committee will streamline the processes of cross-border trade between organizations and authorities while serving as a platform for addressing sectoral needs. Furthermore, Luis Eduardo Trejo Noguez was introduced as the most suitable candidate to serve as the legislative liaison for BTA, showcasing his expertise and capabilities to represent the group's interests before relevant authorities.
The meeting, chaired by Joaquín Spamer, President of BTA Mexico, underscored the organization's commitment to promoting a conducive environment for business growth and attracting new investments. Another focal point was the development of strategies to tackle upcoming commercial challenges among Mexico, the United States, and Canada. There was a notable emphasis on maintaining a consistent work framework to strengthen the association and solidify its position as a leader among Mexican associations and organizations driving economic development.
