During "The Logistics World Summit & Expo 2024," the Starr-Camargo International Bridge emerged as a key logistical platform offering numerous facilities for trade exchange between Mexico and the United States. The expo brought together various suppliers and entrepreneurs from the logistics sector in Mexico City.

Robert Vale, Vice President of Commercial Development at Starr-Camargo Bridge Company, along with Beatriz Castro, International Legal Officer, and Derly Rivas, in charge of commercial development and promotion of the company, showcased the numerous competitive advantages available to users.

These advantages included the bridge's strategic location, connecting the cities of Camargo, Tamaulipas and Rio Grande City, Texas, and its proximity to industrial centers like Reynosa, Tamaulipas and Monterrey, Nuevo León, which are leaders in manufacturing.

The bridge's private ownership allows for the transit of double trailers, overweight and oversized cargo, and offers a joint customs inspection between agents from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Mexico's National Customs Agency (ANAM).

"For us, presenting all the competitive advantages in Mexico City was a great opportunity," said Vale. "Our status as a privately administered bridge makes operations easy for companies, and we encountered significant interest from the business sector."

Castro emphasized the international bridge's long-standing collaboration with various businesses and authorities in Mexico to guarantee users an efficient and optimized experience. "Thanks to our joint customs inspection, we can examine cargo in a single location, providing companies with efficient and smooth service, resulting in economic savings."

"The Logistics World Summit & Expo 2024" was an opportunity for Tamaulipas to showcase itself as "Mexico's logistics platform" amid trends like nearshoring, facilitated by the Ministry of Economy. Thirteen companies from cities such as Nuevo Laredo, Reynosa, Matamoros, and Ciudad Victoria participated.

Starr-Camargo Bridge Company was notable as the sole company representing South Texas.
