Solar Plastics inaugurates its plant in Nuevo León

Solar Plastics opened its plant in Monterrey , Nuevo León, which was driven by the increased demand for plastic products in North America and the opportunities created by establishing operations near the coast.

For this reason, the company expanded its production to Mexico, guided by its strategic consulting partner Nepanoa , who helped address obstacles related to the selection of local suppliers, labor, work culture and regulations, among others. 

The location of this new 55,000 square foot plant , strategically situated close to the US market and its demands, provides Solar Plastics with a competitive advantage in terms of pricing, supply chain efficiency and qualified staff. 

This strategy of expanding operations in Mexico or relocating facilities prepares the company for the future by generating around 150 jobs.

Together with Solar Plastics , many companies from the United States, Europe and Asia are identifying the benefits of locating their critical operations in Mexico. The association with the plastic company allowed Nepanoa to fulfill its mission: to accompany companies in their expansion and transformation efforts in the United States and Mexico.
