SEYI Strengthens Its Presence in Mexico with New Headquarters in the Bajío Region
March 25, 2026
SEYI Machinery, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of medium- and high-tonnage servo presses, announced the opening of a new operational headquarters in Mexico’s Bajío industrial corridor, reinforcing its growth strategy across the Americas.
The region, which includes states such as Querétaro and Guanajuato, has become one of the most dynamic manufacturing and investment hubs in Mexico. Against this backdrop, SEYI’s arrival marks a strategic step in strengthening proximity to customers and enhancing on-site response capabilities.
Strategic expansion with a regional focus
The inauguration of the new operational center was attended by representatives of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Mexico, along with company executives, who highlighted the importance of the expansion.
Claire Kuo, President of SEYI Machinery, said the new headquarters strengthens integration between Taiwan, the United States, and Mexico, enabling the company to deliver metal forming solutions with greater efficiency, innovation, and a stronger focus on energy savings.
The new site also complements the company’s existing operations in Nuevo León, creating a more integrated service and after-sales system in Mexico. SEYI has already installed more than 400 presses in the country, reflecting the sustained growth of the sector and the confidence of its customers.
Infrastructure for service, training, and innovation
The new Bajío complex includes dedicated areas for sales, service, spare parts, administration, and marketing, strengthening local operational capabilities.
Its facilities include:
- A showroom featuring the SDN1 servo press
- Technical training spaces
- Collaboration and professional exchange areas
- Infrastructure for industrial application demonstrations
This approach is designed not only to improve customer service, but also to promote technical knowledge transfer and the adoption of more efficient and sustainable technologies.
Efficient manufacturing and long-term vision
Stephen Walls, General Manager of SEYI America, said the company will continue investing in local training and support with the goal of building long-term relationships with customers.
With this expansion, SEYI reaffirms its philosophy of “global reach, local depth,” betting on a manufacturing model that is more efficient, resilient, and aligned with the transition toward lower-carbon processes.
