SCHUNK Boosts Mexico’s Tech Industry with New Technology Hub in Querétaro

SCHUNK, a global leader in automation and technology solutions, has launched its new Technology Center in Querétaro with an investment of 119 million pesos. This new facility will not only enhance the company’s technological capabilities but also foster local industry growth by creating highly specialized jobs.

The Querétaro Technology Center is designed to drive research and development in key areas such as industrial automation, sensor technology, and robotics. The facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and advanced laboratories, enabling SCHUNK to remain at the forefront of innovative solutions for clients worldwide.

Johannes Ketterer, SCHUNK’s COO and CSO, emphasized the strategic importance of this center’s location in enabling the company to take its productivity to the next level. He highlighted Mexico’s position as the ninth-largest global exporter of manufactured goods and the top exporter to the United States, underscoring the importance of the country in SCHUNK’s global strategy.

With this expansion, SCHUNK reaffirms its commitment to the Mexican market and its confidence in the country’s potential for growth in the technology sector.
