S&C Electric Company Mexicana to expand operations in Aguascalientes

S&C Electric Company Mexicana, a company specialized in providing technological solutions to improve the quality of electric power supply, has announced the expansion of its production lines at its plant in Aguascalientes.
Mel Wilhelm Fonseca, General Manager of S&C Electric Mexicana, acknowledged that thanks to the competitive advantages offered by Aguascalientes, the company has experienced significant growth in recent years. This growth has led to the need for new production lines that will further strengthen the industrial sector in the state.
“The S&C Electric plant in Aguascalientes has seen sustained growth in recent years, driven by process innovation, the high quality of local talent, and the stability our state offers for the development of high value-added projects,” stated Esaú Garza de Vega, Head of the Secretariat for Economic Development, Science, and Technology (SEDECyT).
He emphasized that this expansion not only reinforces the state's industrial sector but also promotes the creation of skilled jobs, encourages the integration of advanced technologies, and enhances the competitiveness of the value chain.
S&C Electric is a company with over 100 years of global history and more than two decades of operations in Aguascalientes, where it has established itself as a key player in providing technological solutions to improve the quality of electric power supply.
The announcement was made during a meeting held at S&C’s facilities, attended by Esaú Garza de Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, Science, and Technology of the State; Alma Edith Díaz de León Esqueda, General Secretary of Canacintra Aguascalientes; as well as other members of Canacintra’s Board of Directors and the company's leadership team.
