Erika de Reynosa is set to invest $10 million in a new subsidiary in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, further establishing itself as the largest manufacturing hub worldwide for the German company Fresenius Medical Care.

The investment announcement highlighted the creation of 600 new jobs, adding to the 4,500 already provided by the plant, which focuses on developing medical technology for treating patients with chronic kidney failure.

Erika de Reynosa manufactures products such as dialysis equipment, peritoneal, and hemodialysis systems, which are then sold internationally. This expansion is seen as crucial for the medical industry.

Reynosa's medical industry has remained a strong and continually growing sector. Jesús González, Vice President of Manufacturing at Erika de Reynosa, welcomed Humberto Cantú, President of National Index, along with Raul Setién, President of Index Reynosa, and various officials from the Tamaulipas government to showcase the production processes leading to the final product.

The event was attended by Américo Villarreal Anaya, Governor of Tamaulipas, Ninfa Cantú Deándar, Secretary of Economy, and Anabell Flores Garza, Deputy Secretary of Investment.

This investment also underscores the business sector's confidence in northern Tamaulipas, a state currently ranked as the third fastest-growing industrial entity in the country.
