Rexroth Bosch inaugurates its second plant in Querétaro

Through Rexroth , Bosch began operations of its new plant in Querétaro , which will have a greater capacity to serve the growing markets for mobile hydraulic systems and factory automation in North America, shortening delivery routes. 

The new manufacturing complex implies an investment of 4,300 million pesos , as well as the creation of 900 jobs in the coming years. With this capital injection, the division will reinforce its activities for the North American market in order to provide an even better and more efficient service to its clients, together with the US offices.

In an area of ​​42,000 square meters , Bosch Rexroth will produce hydraulic pumps for mobile machinery in Querétaro, and prepares the increase in hydraulic components , as well as linear motion technology for applications in mechanical manufacturing engineering and factory automation.

With its localization strategy, Bosch Rexroth increases the capacity, flexibility and robustness of supply chains and reduces the CO2 footprint of regionally manufactured products thanks to shorter delivery routes

Reinhard Schaefer, Member of the Board of Management of Bosch Rexroth , responsible for manufacturing and quality, commented that they will redirect faster to customer requirements and meet the growing demand for components and solutions, in particular for agricultural and construction machinery and manufacturers of OEM machinery in North America. 

"Our customers in North America will continue with their regional Bosch Rexroth contact, but have more options for transportation and delivery."

For his part, Christoph Kleu, Vice President of Finance and Administration of Bosch Rexroth in North America , stated that this is the second Rexroth Bosch plant in Querétaro; the first was recently expanded for the production of automotive components. 

"In the last two years, Bosch has announced investments in the country for more than 20,000 million pesos between new plants and expansions of its different business sectors."

Bosch Rexroth has been present in Mexico since 1982 and employs 170 people at its first location in the State of Mexico.
