Representatives from McAllen, Texas, meet with ANAM and SICT officials to manage opening to commercial traffic

With the intention of managing support for the opening of commercial traffic at the Reynosa-Mission “Anzaldúas” International Bridge, representatives of the city of McAllen in Texas held a meeting with officials of the National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM) and the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT).

The meeting took place in Mexico City, with the assistance of the mayor of McAllen in Texas, Javier Villalobos; the superintendent of the McAllen , Hidalgo and Anzaldúa International Bridges, Juan Olaguibel; accompanied by Martin Anzaldúa, member of the Reynosa-Mission International Bridge Board of Directors and CEO of Grupo Rio San Juan ; also from Arturo Morales, City of McAllen Assessor

The prosperous dialogue took place on April 12, and was chaired by Rafael Marín Mollinar, head of ANAM , and Jesús Felipe Verdugo López, undersecretary of infrastructure of the SICT .

Among the objectives with the opening to commercial traffic is the strengthening of international relations,  around the trade that is generated on both sides of the border.
