Rehau begins construction of its third plant in Guanajuato

Rehau carried out the laying ceremony of the first stone of the third edgebanding plant , where 25 million dollars will be invested and generating 300 new jobs in Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato.
This manufacturing complex will be producing edge covers and "T" moldings for the furniture industry; It will also be located on a four-hectare plot and will have an area of 13,500 square meters.
The German company specializes in the production of materials for the manufacture of furniture, windows, magnetic seals, refrigeration doors and products for the automotive industry. And it has three factories in Mexico; two in Apaseo el Grande and one in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
The Governor of the State of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, commented that Rehau is a company that sets the pace within the industry and this act generates optimism in the region.
“We know that we were competing with other places, such as Torreón, Monterrey and Dallas for the installation of this new plant. But you have made the right decision and you are in the right place today."
This event was also attended by the mayor of Apaseo El Grande, José Luis Oliveros Usabiaga; and the general director of Rehau Mexico and Central America and global vice president of Industry for the company, Damian Kirby.
