Querétaro Automotive Cluster Explores Advanced Manufacturing at BMW San Luis Potosí Plant

The Querétaro Automotive Cluster strengthened its ties with one of the world’s leading automakers through an exclusive visit to BMW Group’s facility in San Luis Potosí. Participants had the opportunity to observe firsthand the production lines of the 3 Series, 2 Series, and M2 models, gaining valuable insights into the company’s advanced approach to manufacturing.
BMW’s San Luis Potosí plant, inaugurated in 2019, represents one of the most modern automotive operations in Latin America. With an annual capacity of 145,250 vehicles and more than 2,800 employees, the facility integrates cutting-edge German engineering with sustainable production practices designed to meet global demand.
