Querétaro continues to expand its international footprint in aerospace by leading a trade mission to Brazil, organized in partnership with CAMEBRA – Mexico-Brazil Chamber of Commerce, FEMIA, the State Government of Querétaro, and the Aeroclúster de Querétaro. The initiative underscores the state’s role as one of Mexico’s most dynamic aerospace hubs and its commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with Latin America’s leading aerospace economy.
Brazil’s robust aerospace and defense ecosystem, with global players such as Embraer, Helibras, and GE Aerospace Celma, represents a key partner for Mexico. Through this mission, Querétaro aims to connect its advanced supply chain, talent pool, and research infrastructure with Brazil’s innovative industry, paving the way for new business and investment opportunities.
Strategic Collaboration with Brazil
The delegation visited the Technology Innovation Park in São José dos Campos, a benchmark in aerospace research and industrial collaboration. Meetings with the Brazilian Aerospace Cluster highlighted the potential for joint projects in technology development, supply chain integration, and B2B partnerships.
The mission also included a visit to the Mexican Consulate in São Paulo, where the delegation was received by Consul General Claudia Velasco. This exchange reaffirmed the shared vision of strengthening bilateral relations to foster collaboration, technological innovation, and cross-border investment in aerospace.
Querétaro’s Aerospace Ecosystem
Querétaro is home to one of Mexico’s most consolidated aerospace ecosystems, with world-class companies, the Aeronautical University of Querétaro (UNAQ), and a strong base of suppliers integrated into global value chains. Its strategic location, skilled workforce, and innovation-driven approach make the state a natural partner for international collaboration.
By connecting with Brazil’s thriving aerospace ecosystem, Querétaro reinforces its position as a competitive hub in Latin America and as a strategic partner for global investors looking to expand in advanced manufacturing and aerospace technology.
