Talent development, sustainability, and supply chain diversification lead this year’s agenda.
The Querétaro Aerospace Cluster launched its 2025 strategy during its First Informative Session, hosted at the Universidad Politécnica de Querétaro (UPQ). The event gathered current members, strategic partners, and prospective collaborators to review progress and outline initiatives across four key working groups:
- Talent Development, Diversity & Inclusion
- Sustainable Aerospace Industry
- Supply Chain Diversification
- Promotion & Visibility
Stronger Network, New Members
The session marked the integration of new companies and institutions into the cluster’s network—an important step in reinforcing Querétaro’s collaborative aerospace ecosystem.
New members are expected to contribute to ongoing initiatives and help build synergies that support strategic projects designed to elevate the sector’s global competitiveness.
Workforce and Sustainability in Focus
The commissions shared updates and specific goals for 2025, emphasizing:
- The development of specialized talent
- The promotion of diversity and inclusion in the workforce
- Projects aimed at making the aerospace sector more sustainable and resilient
These initiatives respond to global challenges in environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and the evolving labor market.
Expanding the Local Supply Chain
On the supply chain front, discussions focused on strategies to diversify local suppliers, strengthen capabilities, and generate opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region.
The objective is to integrate more Querétaro-based companies into the aerospace value chain, promoting a more dynamic and inclusive industrial landscape.
Visibility on National and Global Stages
The Promotion and Visibility Commission unveiled initiatives to position Querétaro and its cluster members at key national and international aerospace events, as well as through strategic communication campaigns.
These actions aim to reinforce Querétaro’s reputation as a leading aerospace hub in Mexico and Latin America.
Collaboration Between Academia, Industry, and Government
The session was held in the 3D Auditorium at UPQ, a symbolic venue that highlights the essential role of academic–industry–government collaboration in advancing the region’s aerospace ambitions.
