Phillips Industries inaugurates expansion of its plant in Coahuila

Phillips Industries inaugurated the expansion of its facilities in the municipality of Arteaga, Coahuila, a project where an investment of 35 million dollars was made .

 The American company focuses on the production of harnesses for tractor trucks and trailers , where with the inauguration of Plant II, more than 1,600 formal jobs were generated.

The Chairman of the Board of Phillips , Bob Phillips, recalled the beginnings of the company and what its slogan establishes: " Let's do things better " to " We make products that make a difference ", and thanked the authorities and all employees of the company to continue growing.

For his part, Robert Phillips, Executive Chief of Phillips , highlighted the alliance with the State Government and the Municipality of Arteaga, in addition to the fact that today is a celebration and the power to have had an expansion to 140,000 square meters, and what It continues with the manufacture of all kinds of sensors and telematic accesses.

 In his speech, Filiberto Coello, OEM president of Phillips in Mexico , explained that the new expansion will reach 500,000 square feet and generate 1,600 jobs by the end of 2023.
