During the inauguration of the "Nearshoring Mexico Summit," Mauricio Kuri González, Governor of Querétaro, announced that the state currently boasts a portfolio of 52 projects with investments exceeding 55 billion pesos, primarily from the United States, Asia, and Europe.

Reflecting on his past role as a senator, Governor Kuri emphasized the significance of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) in unlocking new prospects for Mexico and Querétaro. He underlined the state's appeal for investment and its potential to attract company relocations. "Querétaro is undoubtedly the best state to invest in," he asserted. "Starting in March, we will continue our efforts to attract investment, with a portfolio of 52 projects totaling over 55 billion pesos, many originating from the United States, Asia, and Europe."
The panel also featured Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, Secretary of Sustainable Development; Francisco Cervantes Díaz, President of the Business Coordinating Council; Graeme Clark, Canadian Ambassador to Mexico; Pedro Casas Alatriste, CEO of the American Chamber; and Ricardo Aranda Girard, USMCA negotiator.
Canadian Ambassador Graeme Clark commended Querétaro's success in attracting investments, emphasizing its benefits for organizations, Canada, and the broader USMCA region.
