Open Fairfield Inn & Suites Silao in GPI

In order to meet the growing demand of business guests in the Bajío region, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Guanajuato Silao, of the Marriott group, started operations in Guanajuato.

250 million pesos were allocated for the construction of the complex and it is located in Guanajuato Puerto Interior (GPI), an industrial community that houses more than 120 companies; It is also part of the G100 Business District project, the most important business center in the region.

"We are not mistaken, Marriott is our ideal partner, has put a lot of value in this project," said Gabriel Padilla Cordero, investor of Fairfield Inn & Suites Guanajuato Silao.

Padilla thanked the entire Fairfield Inn & Suites Guanajuato Silao team and the state and municipal authorities who have boosted industrial development and business tourism.

The hotel has 120 luxury rooms, defined work areas, free Wi-Fi access, restaurant, gym, among others. The facilities also offer 24 Japanese-style rooms with traditional furo and bidet.

German Ahgue, general manager of the complex, said that for Silao and the Bajío region, opening the doors of a new hotel is good news, so the Fairfield Inn & Suites brand stood out for its quality and service.

“Our task as a hotel is to offer excellent services and a comfortable stay for visitors. We are distinguished by a floor adapted to the Japanese market niche that any guest can also experience ”.

Meanwhile, Alberto Soto, president of Organisms of Guanajuato Puerto interior (OGPI) and general director of Orbis Mexico, stressed that the launch of this new hotel is the result of the vision and entrepreneurial spirit of Gabriel Padilla and said that Fairfield Inn & Suites Guanajuato Silao complements the service area for GPI.

Currently, in OGPI there are more than 120 companies from 18 countries, with more than 19,000 direct jobs, which are the result of attracting investments of more than 4,000 million dollars.

“We have infrastructure and services such as an internal customs, multimodal terminal, controlled area, educational institutions, nursery, banks, etc. We are a reference complex in Mexico and Latin America, ”he said.

In the inauguration event, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez, governor of Guanajuato, mentioned that the consolidation of the GPI logistics center reflects the success of the state in recent decades and that here is what has been generated to encourage economic growth by various areas .

Also present at the opening ceremony were Paul Downer, regional representative of Marriott in Mexico and the Caribbean; Luis Quiroz, director of GPI; Adriana Ramírez, president of the State DIF System; María Teresa Matamoros, Secretary of Tourism; Mauricio Usabiaga, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development; and José Antonio Trejo, municipal president of Silao, among other guests.
