Nuevo León Showcases Advanced Manufacturing Capability Center as a Model for Competitiveness

The Secretary of Economy of Nuevo León, Betsabé (Betsy) Rocha, visited the Advanced Manufacturing Capability Center (AMC²), the first experiential learning hub in advanced manufacturing in Mexico. The visit highlighted the state’s commitment to strengthening competitiveness, supporting SMEs, and promoting global investment through innovation and workforce development.
Experiential Training for Industry 4.0
Developed by CAINTRA Nuevo León in collaboration with McKinsey & Company and operated by the Monterrey Competitiveness Center (CCMTY), the AMC² is equipped with a cutting-edge model factory. The facility allows executives, change leaders, and operators to train through hands-on learning, making it an ideal platform to acquire skills in automation, efficiency, and sustainable practices aligned with Industry 4.0.
A State Committed to Growth
During the visit, Rocha was joined by directors Sabrina Ortiz, Elena Mitilene Rodríguez Gutiérrez, and Carlos Garza, underscoring the collaborative effort between government, industry, and institutions to strengthen value chains and generate high-quality jobs. For Nuevo León, the AMC² represents a strategic tool to ensure SMEs remain competitive while supporting the arrival of new investments.
