Nuevo León has reaffirmed its position as one of Mexico’s top economic powerhouses with the relaunch of its Logistics Cluster, a strategic initiative aimed at driving innovation and advancing supply chains. The cluster brings together leaders from freight, maritime, air, and intermodal transport, underscoring the state’s comprehensive infrastructure for trade and investment.
Logistics: A Growth Engine for Nuevo León
The logistics industry plays a decisive role in Nuevo León’s economy, contributing nearly 10% to the state’s GDP and supporting over 80,000 formal jobs. With more than $60 billion in annual exports—equivalent to around 10% of Mexico’s total—Nuevo León is consolidating its status as a key gateway for international commerce.
A Platform for Innovation and Connectivity
The relaunch of the cluster reflects a commitment to strengthen collaboration between government, private industry, and academia. By integrating critical players across transportation modes, the initiative is designed to streamline trade operations, reduce bottlenecks, and accelerate investment projects.
Strategic Value for Global Trade
The state’s geographic advantage, combined with robust infrastructure and a skilled workforce, makes it one of the most attractive logistics hubs in Latin America. By creating a platform for shared innovation, the Logistics Cluster is expected to attract new investment, expand export capacity, and reinforce Nuevo León’s leadership in global supply chains.
