Nuevo León is gearing up for an influx of foreign investment in the aerospace and electromobility sectors, following a successful commercial tour through Singapore and China. Secretary of Economy, Iván Rivas, revealed that several companies have expressed keen interest in Nuevo León's competitive advantages, particularly highlighting its appeal for expanding operations.

During their visit to the Singapore Airshow, the region's largest aerospace exhibition, Rivas and Undersecretary of Investment, Emmanuel Loo, engaged with 27 industry-leading companies to explore cutting-edge aerospace technology and innovative processes. They also seized the opportunity to network with institutions like the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Center (ARTC) and ST Engineering, a global leader in aircraft MRO services.

In a seminar titled "Why Nuevo León is the Best Place to Invest," held in Singapore, Rivas addressed 90 representatives from leading companies, showcasing the state's strengths as an investment destination. This proactive approach aimed to solidify Nuevo León's position as a prime location for business expansion.

In China, meetings were held with major players such as Great Wall Motors, China's largest utility vehicle manufacturer, and Yutong, a prominent producer of electric buses. These discussions further underscored the growing interest in Nuevo León's potential and the mutual benefits of investment partnerships.

The Ministry of Economy's strategic initiatives in Singapore and China have paved the way for Nuevo León to attract significant foreign investment in key sectors. With a focus on fostering innovation and collaboration, Nuevo León is poised to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the global market.
