NL takes the investment advantages of the entity to China

Within the framework of the China International Fair for Investment and Trade 2019 (CIFIT,) the Nuevo Leon delegation showed the benefits of investing in Nuevo Leon to companies from around the world.

The delegation of the Ministry of Economy and labor in the state held meetings with companies of the automotive industry and of plastic, where there has been an approach with at least three of them, which consider establishing an investment project in the entity.

During the fair held in the city of Xiamen, China, Anabell Flores, coordinator of Foreign Investment, fulfilled a seminar for more than 15 companies where she introduced the competitive advantages offered by Nuevo Leon as an ideal destination to invest.

CIFIT is the largest global investment event in China intended to facilitate the bilateral investment, by attracting investment promotion agencies of more than 40 countries and regions, with more than 1,500 business exhibitors offering an overall vision of the investment environment in China and other countries.

The state’s presence in that country is very important since recently the interest of Chinese companies has increased to invest in Mexico; this due to the commercial war currently taking place between the United States and China, as well as their recent internationalization policy.

During the last years, Chinese investments have been the ones that have grown the most. The Ministry of Economy and Labor anticipates that during 2018 the investment from the Asian country grew about 800 % in Nuevo Leon.

It is expected for Nuevo Leon to continue strengthening the cooperation ties with China in the upcoming months to detect business opportunities that develop the state’s growth.
