Nifco to expand operations in Apodaca, Nuevo León with $85 million automotive plant investment

Nifco, a South Korea-based supplier to global automakers, announced the installation of a second plant in Apodaca, Nuevo León, with an investment of up to $85 million.
The announcement was made during Governor Samuel García’s working tour in Asia, where he is currently in South Korea promoting the state as an investment destination.
Nifco expansion strengthens the automotive supply chain in Nuevo León
Nifco specializes in plastic assembly and mold manufacturing and is part of the supply chain for companies such as Tesla, Hyundai, Kia, Ford, and Honda.
The company already operates a plant in the municipality of Guadalupe, where it has invested more than $60 million. With this new project, Nifco’s total investment in Nuevo León will reach approximately $150 million.
New Nifco plant to create 1,500 jobs in Apodaca
In addition to the capital investment, the project will have a significant impact on employment, as the new facility is expected to generate around 1,500 jobs, further strengthening economic development and the automotive industry in the state.
State authorities highlighted that this investment reflects the confidence of international companies in Nuevo León and reinforces the state’s position as one of the leading destinations for industrial expansion in Mexico.
