Governor Manolo Jiménez announced that new companies will be setting up in the Monclova area, with details on the next major company, including names and characteristics, to be revealed after June 15.

During an event hosted by Coparmex Monclova, the governor highlighted that the upcoming company will make an investment exceeding $40 million, bringing secure and well-paid jobs to the Central region's residents.

The governor informed the private sector that Coahuila's various regions are poised for economic prosperity, thanks to the state's prioritization of security.

Regarding Industrial Hosting, Jiménez Salinas emphasized the importance of creating new parks and ready-to-occupy buildings for incoming investors. He noted, “Monclova will thrive due to its strategic location, offering essential access to both the border and the southern parts of the country through its communication routes.”

Reaffirming Commitment

José Medina Mora, National President of Coparmex, thanked Governor Jiménez Salinas for attending the swearing-in ceremony of Mario Coria Rohell, who was re-elected as president of the Coahuila Business Center. Mora emphasized the support from the governor’s administration in advancing the regions of Central-Desert and Carboniferous.

At the ceremony, where the governor joined Coparmex Monclova members, he reaffirmed his commitment to working with the business sector to attract more investments and ensure balanced development across all regions.

The governor pledged to leverage the added value of the business organization and to work collaboratively to boost the economic development of these regions. He encouraged the private sector to remain united for the benefit of Coahuila.

“We work as a team here,” the governor said. “There is great synergy among civil society, the private sector, citizens, and the government. Despite any differences, we all share the goal of advancing Coahuila. The opportunities presented by Nearshoring are particularly motivating because they highlight our national strength and the unique advantages we offer, primarily the security that Coahuila provides.”

Governor Jiménez Salinas welcomed José Medina Mora, National President of Coparmex, and reiterated the collaborative spirit that drives progress in Coahuila.
