MIYM Invests 500 Million Pesos in Aguascalientes Dairy Plant, Creating 550 Jobs

Mexicana de Industrias y Marcas (MIYM) has announced a significant investment of 500 million pesos and the creation of 550 new jobs for the construction of a plant in Aguascalientes. This facility will be dedicated to the industrialization, production, and packaging of milk and dairy products.
The construction of the plant is set to begin in December, covering an area of 70 to 100 hectares. The investment project will be executed in two phases, with operations expected to commence by 2025.
Teodoro Espejo Barradas, President of MIYM's Board of Directors, shared that the company specializes in producing and packaging high-quality, nutritious foods, aiming to make nutritional value accessible to everyone. Their product range includes whole milk, flavored milks, beverages, half cream, and blended dairy products.
"After considering several states in the country, we chose to establish ourselves in Aguascalientes because of its competitive advantages, particularly its strategic location, which will allow us to reach the entire region and expand the distribution of our products," he stated.
The investment announcement was attended by Tere Jiménez, Governor of Aguascalientes; Esaú Garza de Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, Science and Technology of the state; and executives from the Mexican company.
