Minth Group's Major Expansion in Aguascalientes Boosts Automotive Sector

Minth Group has announced a new investment of 57 million dollars for the expansion of its Metals Division (MBU) plant in Aguascalientes. This investment adds to the 173 million dollars announced last March.

In addition to expanding their capacity for finishing extruded aluminum products, Minth Group plans to create 1,200 additional jobs. The automotive supplier serves clients such as Nissan, Renault, GM, Ford, Lucid Motors, Stellantis, MG Motor, Honda, Volkswagen, among others.

Esau Garza de Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, Science, and Technology of Aguascalientes, highlighted, "This investment represents significant economic growth and provides our community with access to more and better jobs. With this expansion, we are further solidifying our robust automotive ecosystem in the state, known for its highly skilled workforce, excellent infrastructure, and favorable conditions for the automotive industry."

In Mexico, Minth operates two plants in Aguascalientes: MINTH MÉXICO S.A. de C.V., specializing in plastic and metal injection, and MINTH MÉXICO COATINGS S.A. de C.V., focused on aluminum extrusion.
