Michoacán Launches Eleva Park to Strengthen Industrial Investment

Michoacán

January 27, 2026

The state of Michoacán inaugurated Eleva Park, a new industrial development that reflects growing confidence among local investors and the sustained expansion of productive activity in the region, according to the state’s Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco).

The project represents a locally driven initiative with social and economic impact, aimed at strengthening the state’s industrial base and creating long-term conditions for business growth.

Productive Investment with a Local Vision

During the inauguration ceremony, Claudio Méndez Fernández, head of Sedeco, emphasized that one of the strongest indicators of economic confidence is when local entrepreneurs choose to invest in their own region, reinforcing productive infrastructure and laying the groundwork for Michoacán’s industrial development.

He noted that Eleva Park aligns with the state’s industrial promotion strategy as well as broader national and regional development frameworks focused on attracting productive investment, generating formal employment, and strengthening domestic markets.

Industrial Complementarity and Regional Growth

Méndez Fernández added that the development is backed by the State Government, providing greater certainty for investors and supporting the consolidation of industrial projects aimed at diversifying economic activity and improving regional competitiveness.

Eleva Park is also designed to complement other industrial projects in Michoacán, including Parque Bajío, helping shape a strategic industrial corridor. This proximity will expand infrastructure availability, address diverse investment needs, and promote productive integration without creating direct competition between developments.

With projects like Eleva Park, Michoacán continues to build the infrastructure required to attract new industries, support local enterprise, and strengthen its role within Mexico’s evolving industrial landscape.
