Mercedes-Benz Buses celebrates 28 years manufacturing heavy vehicles

The García Plant of Mercedes-Benz Autobuses celebrates 28 years contributing to the growth of the automotive industry; by designing, developing and producing the chassis and heavy vehicles for the transport of people at an urban, interurban and foreign level.

The manufacturing complex located in Nuevo León, in recent years has been reinforced with the implementation of technology that helps update mobility for the future.

The German brand offers in Mexico a catalog of approximately 18 bus models , which are produced according to the high quality standards defined by the organization.

It should be noted that, in 1993, the Daimler Trucks corporate confirmed its arrival in the country with the construction of various warehouses totaling 195,563 square meters , and which form part of a 352,090-square-meter plot of land , where the manufacturing activities of Mercedes -Benz are carried out. Benz .

Currently, the Mexican plant has a capacity to produce around 25 units per day , of which 16 come from chassis and 13 buses.
