October 20, 2023 - Meor, a real estate fund specializing in the development of AAA industrial parks, has successfully concluded the sale of one of its facilities to one of Mexico's largest and most institutional real estate investment trusts (REITs). This strategic move aligns with Meor's commitment to economic growth and the expansion of businesses in Mexico, marking a milestone in the company's business strategy to strengthen its market presence and adapt to changing industrial trends.

The industrial warehouse in question, designed for logistical use, was erected in 2021 and is situated in the Blvd 2000 area. Spanning an impressive 42,000 square meters of leasable space on a 79,000-square-meter plot, this facility represents a high-value asset with significant potential for any company seeking to expand its operations in Mexico.

Meor has successfully built and developed nearly 90 projects, maintaining an impressive occupancy rate of 98 percent across its portfolio. Together, these installations offer over 350,000 square meters of construction.

Jonathan Pomerantz, Chief Investment Officer of Meor, emphasized the positive impact of industrial development or sales on job creation and the improvement of living conditions for surrounding communities. "For us, this is the opportune moment to capitalize on industrial trends driven by the growing demand for industrial spaces, fueled by the rise of e-commerce and nearshoring. This will further strengthen our institutional real estate portfolio with high-quality creditworthy tenants," Pomerantz stated.

Javier Camarena, CEO of Meor, highlighted that the sale of this industrial warehouse enhances the company's capacity to continue investing in the development of industrial parks and warehouses, fostering the establishment of new businesses and the expansion of existing ones in Mexico. The strategic move positions Meor for continued success in a dynamic and evolving industrial landscape.
