Meet the companies recognized with the 2021 Business Merit Award in Querétaro

The Government of the State of Querétaro awarded the 2021 Business Merit Award , in the categories of Foreign Trade, Social Responsibility and Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility.

In the first category, the company Terminal Logistics was awarded ; the Social Responsibility category was for Caja Gonzalo Vega , while the Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility category was for Brose .

Likewise, awards were given to the Executive of the Year , in which Héctor Ruiz Yáñez , director of human resources of BRP Querétaro ; Entrepreneur of the Year , in which Marco Antonio de León Zúñiga , general director of RECYQRO , and Entrepreneur of the Year , was chosen for Miguel Ángel de la Rosa Delgado , president of Grupo Genermasa .

RECOGNITION

Within the framework of the delivery of these recognitions, Mauricio Kuri González , governor of Querétaro , highlighted the trust of company managers to bet on the state, because, he stressed, they are the ones who drive the state's economy, generating employment, competitiveness and productivity. 

“All my admiration, all my respect and above all all my gratitude to the Queretaro businessmen, who continue to bet on Querétaro to make that Querétaro that we all want. (…) Here we are all on the same side of the table, because we all want the same thing, we all want something called competitiveness ”, declared the president.

In his speech, Jorge Rivadeneyra Díaz , president of the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry in Querétaro , indicated that through actions and recognitions such as the Business Merit Award , a clear example is sent to the country, because “when there are good governments , united sectors, exceptional employers and workers, things can be different and favorable for industry and society ”.

Since 2009, when the first award was held, 54 companies out of a total of 339 participants have been awarded .
