Maval inaugurates plant in Nuevo Laredo

Maval Steering Systems of Mexico invested two million dollars and will create 200 jobs for Neolaredans in a first stage. The newly opened operations plant in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, has 65,000 square feet. 

With the inauguration of the Maval  company , it is endorsed that, in Nuevo Laredo, one of the advantages that work as a magnet in attracting investment is its workforce. 

Maval's general manager, Juan Ángel Salas Silva, highlighted that investors seek to grow the plant, seeing Nuevo Laredo as the best option.

“Betting on this city is something that should be highlighted. Nuevo Laredo has always been a city with an important workforce, where there is a lot of talent, which is reflected in this investment attraction and today, finally, with that synergy, we are starting Maval's operations”, he pointed out.

 

ABOUT MAVAL

Maval  is a company of American origin dedicated to the remanufacturing of imported power steering pumps and gears. It was founded in 1987 and has grown to become one of the leading steering component remanufacturers in the US.

This is the company's first operating plant in Nuevo Laredo, but it is the second in Mexico. In addition, Maval has production plants, joint ventures, and supply relationships in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America.

World headquarters is located in Twinsburg, Ohio, and operates as an 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for engineering, machining, and operations.

The second 40,000-square-foot facility processes cores and provides additional storage.
