Matamoros, Tamaulipas, and Brownsville, Texas Join Forces at Clearpower 2023

Members of the Committee for the Economic Development of Matamoros (Codem), the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation (GBIC) and the Port of Brownsville participated in the most important event regarding the generation and implementation of renewable energies in the industries , Cleanpower 2023 , which took place in the city of New Orleans, United States.
Through the promotion of the binational metropolitan area that makes up the cities of Matamoros, in Tamaulipas, and Brownsville, in Texas , the advantages offered to investors were highlighted, such as the geographical location that has consolidated the development and expansion of nine industrial parks on the Mexican side, close to four international bridges, which have direct connectivity to Brownsville and Harlingen .
Also the solid historical relationship of commercial partners, with more than 70 years of experience in manufacturing processes, and the multiple logistics channels that companies have, for example, highways, airports and maritime terminals.
From the Port of Brownsville, the director of cargo services Antonio Rodríguez, from Codem ; President David Garcia; the executive director, Grecia Zertuche; René Xavier González, director of new business and marketing of Real Estate Services for Export Development (SIDEE); from GBIC , Eleazar Rodríguez manager of special projects; and Karla de la Riva, director of workforce and business development.
At Cleanpower 2023 , various conferences and exhibitions are offered, where leaders from various productive, political and industry sectors meet to create learning, connection and innovation processes, in addition, the creation of different renewable energies is promoted, such as onshore wind, offshore wind, solar, its storage and distribution, as well as use within industries.
