Malasa Mex Contract arrives in Querétaro, will generate 400 new jobs

The company of Spanish origin, Malasa Mex Contract , will generate 400 new jobs and will invest 286 million pesos to open a new location in Querétaro .
During the investment announcement, Javier Pérez Patiño , CEO of this company, highlighted the work being carried out in the entity, which has achieved attractive conditions to invest and which led them to bet on this entity to locate its new headquarters.
" Querétaro is today a state in full development and growth that is at the head of the states with the greatest attraction of foreign investment and that according to the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness , is the state with the largest patent application, something very important", declared.
Malasa Mex Contract is a manufacturer of designer furniture; Its new facilities will be located in the Bernardo Quintana Industrial Park , belonging to the municipality of El Marqués .
Francisco Domínguez Servién , Governor of Querétaro , stressed that despite the adversity derived from the health contingency in the world, investors continue to trust the strength and benefits offered by the state, in addition to its strategy called Triple Helix, which favors active participation and joint of the different sectors.
“ Their confidence in our state, as an investment destination, is a sign of economic recovery , which is rewarded with human talent, our well-prepared men and women in our public and private universities; labor peace and social peace; strategic location; land and air connectivity; infrastructure, development and research; as well as an economic model that links the capacities of industry, academia and the government ”, said the Queretaro president.

Querétaro is the fifth recipient of investment of Spanish origin in Mexico ; while from January to September 2020, the investment flow from Spain is in second place in the entity .
Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero , Secretary of Sustainable Development of the state, added that, based on data from the federal Ministry of Economy , by 2020 there are 189 companies with capital of Spanish origin in Querétaro, which constitute 11% of the total of the foreign companies located in the entity .
“[ Furniture manufacturing] represents 3% of the national GDP and almost 1% of the total GDP of economic activity in Querétaro . This investment is added to the 23 million dollars that have been received in 2020 , related to the subsector of the manufacture of furniture, mattresses and blinds, "he explained.
