Lintel Invests $1.7 Billion MXN in Aguascalientes’ New Industrial Park

Mexican company Lintel announced a $1.7 billion MXN investment to build a new industrial park spanning 140 hectares in the state of Aguascalientes. The announcement was made in the presence of Governor Tere Jiménez. The project is expected to generate 750 direct and indirect jobs.

“This project will expand our capacity to attract new investments to Aguascalientes with world-class facilities. With this, we continue to solidify our position as a highly competitive state and an ideal destination for living and investing,” said the governor.

She added that the San Marcos Valley, Aguascalientes Industrial Park, located south of the state capital, will host national and international companies from the automotive, electronic components, technology and innovation, healthcare, logistics, and warehousing sectors, among others.

Meanwhile, Esaú Garza de Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, Science, and Technology (Sedecyt) of the state, emphasized that this project reinforces investor confidence in the region and symbolizes the synergy between the public and private sectors.

“This project strengthens the state's industrial infrastructure and bolsters our investment attraction strategy, driving economic growth through strategic actions that prioritize security, regulatory improvements, water reuse, digital governance, and the use of clean energy,” he stated.

Garza de Vega highlighted that these favorable conditions have allowed Aguascalientes to maintain an exemplary economic dynamism, achieving a 6.2% growth in 2024, surpassing the national average.
