LemTech's Milestone: Unveiling its First Manufacturing Hub in Mexico

LemTech, a Taiwanese-owned company, celebrated the grand opening of its first factory in Mexico, located in Querétaro, with an investment of over 218 million pesos and the creation of more than 90 jobs.
The new facilities in Querétaro are equipped to carry out advanced processes in precision stamping, robotic welding, and mechanical assembly, aiming to provide high-quality and efficient solutions to the company's global customers in the region.
The inaugural event was attended by Marco Del Prete Tercero, Secretary of Sustainable Development of the state, and LemTech's senior management team, who highlighted the company's commitment to excellence and innovation in the sector.
Strengthening the automotive industry supply chain
During his speech, LemTech's CEO and founder, Michael Hsu, expressed the historical significance of this day for the company and explained that the choice of Querétaro as its headquarters was based on its solid infrastructure, supply chain, and the support of state authorities.
Hsu announced plans to invest in the automation of operations and projected an increase in the workforce, from 30 to 40 by the end of this year and up to 90 positions between 2025 and 2026.
Meanwhile, LemTech Mexico's general manager, Koh Ling Yu, detailed that the plant will carry out activities such as stamping, plastic injection molding, and mechanical assemblies for the automotive industry, anticipating the arrival of more equipment and machinery in the coming months.
Ling Yu expressed gratitude for the support of the state administration during the installation process, emphasizing that the new plant will enable LemTech to serve multiple customers in Querétaro and the region, thus increasing its activity and investment in the country.
