Korean Giant LS Cable & System to Build Two New Plants in Querétaro

Executives from the Korean company LS Cable & System México held a meeting with the Governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, to discuss a $100 million investment for the construction of two plants in the Parque Industrialix in the municipality of Corregidora.
LS Cable & System, an industrial corporation based in South Korea, has established itself as the third-largest cable producer worldwide. Its products include power and telecommunications cables and systems, integrated modules, and other related industrial materials.
As part of this project, which will extend until 2027, the company plans to generate 500 new highly specialized jobs. This investment highlights the company’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and enhancing its production capabilities.
The meeting was attended by Jeong Il Byun, CEO of LS Cable & System USA; Seok Won Han, Director of LS Cable & System USA; Kinam Kim, Director of LS Cable & System México; Luis Ernesto Gómez Olvera, HR and Administration Manager at LS Cable & System México; and Marco Antonio del Prete, Secretary of Sustainable Development in Querétaro, among other executives.
