May 30, 2026
Koblenz announced an investment of more than MXN 1.5 billion over the next three years to strengthen its manufacturing platform, expand its production capacity and accelerate its technological development in Mexico. As part of this strategy, the company will install new operations at Bernardo Quintana Industrial Park, in Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, one of the country’s main industrial corridors.
Koblenz bets on Querétaro for its new stage of industrial expansion
The investment includes the addition of more than 100,000 square meters of productive infrastructure, which will allow the company to practically double its current manufacturing footprint. The project will include new infrastructure, technology integration and solutions aimed at increasing operational efficiency, process quality and response capacity to market demand.
The expansion is part of a long-term strategy focused on innovation, technological development and growth in key home appliance categories. The company seeks to strengthen its position in segments such as refrigeration and automatic washing machines through the incorporation of advanced manufacturing, specialized engineering and new technology platforms.
“For decades, Koblenz has built a relationship of trust with millions of Mexican consumers. Today we begin a new stage with a modern, ambitious vision focused on the future,” said Luis Dorador, CEO of Koblenz.
New technological capabilities will drive national and regional growth
According to the company, the decision to establish this new expansion in Querétaro responds to the competitive advantages the state offers in terms of infrastructure, availability of specialized talent and logistics connectivity. These factors will strengthen manufacturing operations and expand growth opportunities both in Mexico and in other markets across the region.
“Querétaro was selected for its relevance as one of the most important industrial ecosystems in the country, as well as for its infrastructure, technical talent and strategic connectivity. We deeply believe in Mexico’s industrial potential and in Koblenz’s ability to compete and grow in this new stage,” Dorador said.
The investment represents a relevant step in Koblenz’s transformation and modernization process by reinforcing its technological and manufacturing capabilities in a context where the home appliance industry demands greater efficiency, innovation and adaptability. With this project, the company reaffirms its commitment to Mexico and to strengthening national manufacturing as a driver of long-term growth.
