As a vision towards social and environmental responsibility, the Kiin Energy company installed a system of 924 solar panels at the Fuji Oozx company,  located in Guanajuato Puerto Interior, in Silao, Guanajuato, with the aim of helping to tackle climate change globally and reduce the carbon footprint.

Humberto García Handal, CEO of Kiin Energy, announced that it is a global strategy implemented in various sectors and industries and, in particular with Fuji Oozx, a significant percentage of the plant will generate energy from renewable sources to reduce pollution.

The 924-panel project is equivalent to 500 kilowatts of installed power, which will generate 66,227 kilowatt hours per month and will avoid 577,057 kilograms of CO2 per year.

Akihiro Ozaki , president of Fuji Oozx Mexico, mentioned that it is the first plant of the group where a project of this nature is implemented; however, given its interest in tackling global warming, the decision was made to reduce its emissions by 20% by 2023 and 50% by 2030.

It will be in mid-2022 when the second stage of this solar energy generation project will begin at the plant, for now, they have investment return expectations of less than four years in its first phase.

From an environmental point of view, Juan Pablo García Handal, vice president of development at Kiin Energy, considered that the Bajío is an area prone to detonate this type of project, since it is located in the most important areas of solar energy generation in the world. .

With 13 years of experience in solar energy generation, Kiin Energy is a company of Guanajuato origin, a leader in promoting sustainable solutions for the efficient use of energy and natural resources through high-quality technologies.
