Kavak invests 365 million pesos in Nuevo León to strengthen the automotive industry

Kavak reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the Monterrey automotive sector , through the start of its operations in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
The digital platform for buying and selling pre-owned cars and the first unicorn startup in the history of Mexico, represents an initial investment of more than 365 million pesos in the state, during the first 6 months of operation.
With its arrival in the north of the country, it will consolidate the third largest reconditioning center in Mexico , with the capacity to process more than 7,500 vehicles per month, which will represent a guarantee of employment for more than 200 families.
Through Kavak's technological platform, residents of Monterrey will be able to sell or acquire the vehicle of their choice with the guarantees of transparency, security and financing from their computer or cell phone; in addition to accessing a centralized search engine with all types of vehicles, at the most competitive prices.
Federico Ranero, director of operations of Kavak, commented that the sector of buying and selling of pre-owned vehicles in Monterrey is the second most important market in Mexico, with an approximate value of 4,000 million dollars , so the arrival of Kavak offers certainty Regiomontanos by selling and / or buying a pre-owned vehicle without fear of being scammed, in a market that accounts for an average of half a million transactions per year, of which 80% occur between individuals.
Kavak has more than 5,000 car options, and during the next 12 months it will add to its catalog more than 20,000 vehicles of various brands and price ranges, to offer an extensive portfolio of options that allow them to acquire the vehicle of their choice, and receive it directly at your home or go to pick it up at a branch.
“At Kavak we give a special treatment to the vehicles, as if we were going to deliver them to our mother or a very dear relative. All the cars acquired by Kavak go through an exhaustive review of more than 240 points to be able to be on the platform, and are totally reconditioned with a mechanical investment of between 15 and 20 thousand pesos on average ”, he said.
