Japanese company to manufacture exhaust systems for Toyota

Aiming to strengthen the supply chain for the local and regional automotive sector, the company Sango Auto Parts invested 132 million dollars on its plant that will be settled in Sendai Park in the municipality of Valle de Santiago.

Concerning this, Dan Baughman, president of Arvin Sango, said that this investment confirms the confidence foreign automotive companies have in Mexico and in Guanajuato.

He explained that Sango is a global leading company in the manufacturing of automobiles exhaust systems and arrived in Guanajuato as part of Toyota’s supply chain that will be settled in Apaseo el Grande.

“We applied a values system where respect for the environment and social commitment with society standout, we want to contribute with society wellbeing and the growth of our company in the region,” he noted.

He said that the plant is to build on 12,000 square meters in a first phase, where exhaust systems and auto-parts will be manufactured for Toyota Tacoma and in a future they expect expanding the business for a second and third phases.

Sango is a globally leading company in the manufacturing of automobiles exhaust systems; in addition it applies a values system where stands out environmental respect and social commitment with the community stand out.

Sango Auto Parts is a union between Sango Japan and Arvin Sango United States; nevertheless, Sango Japan has 90 years in the market specialized in manufacturing and according to Toyota production systems.

Arvin Sango has 30 years with plants in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, Michigan and Canada, and soon in Mexico; with 26 production centers of Grupo Sango. 

INVESTMENTS TO GROW IN GUANAJUATO

Diego Sinhue Rodriguez, governor of the state of Guanajuato noted that the investments attraction area is being strengthened, as it is important for it not only be seen as a State promotion.

Given this, he announced that agreements are being shaped with Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosi and Queretaro, in order for them being able to attract companies and the area is benefited.

 “We are the fifth entity with more jobs generated nationwide, this is without doubt, one of the great benefits generated by the arrival of productive investments; employment is a key factor for development, social stability and wellness of families,” he emphasized.

“Sango’s presence consolidates the supply chain of the automotive industry and strengthens a new industrial vocation for Valle de Santiago, a municipality with great growth potential,” he ended.
